Tyler Kinney
Owner, principal technician

With over 20 years of experience in custom spray finishing, I’ve had the opportunity to work on a wide variety of projects, both large and small. My background includes cabinetry and full interior residential packages, furniture restoration, and durable exterior finishes for front doors and garage doors. I’ve also taken on automotive applications and a handful of art projects, which have helped broaden my skills and creative problem-solving.

I’ve spent time as a coatings specialist for a major industry supplier, where lab training strengthened my understanding of color matching and color theory. That experience, combined with years of hands-on work, allows me to deliver finishes that are not only visually accurate but built to last. I take pride in clear communication, attention to detail, and producing results my clients can rely on.

When I’m not busy working, you can find me spending time with my three awesome boys. I’m a big hockey fan, I love drumming, and I enjoy playing pool and jamming to great music. But being a dad is what I cherish most. I want to teach my boys that with hard work and dedication, they can excel at anything they set their minds to.

After gaining experience in several talented shops, I’m excited to finally bring my passion for finishing to the Calgary area with my own business. I can’t wait to help you with your projects!
